  1. Hi!
I have seen that it was august.. how was the weather?!
Can i go in Grenada in august? what you think about?! is it a good idea or better an other time?!?!
    thanks so much!

    1. Impossible to predict the weather with absolute certainty. June to Nov and into December is rainy season so it will rain more during those months than others. Grenada’s biggest festival – Spice Mas Carnival is always in August so we get many visitors around that time. It’s always a risk when you travel to Caribbean where weather is concerned, but typically even if it does rain most times it’s not for several days consecutively. Of course if you come during dry season the risk of getting rained out is lower but still no guarantees.

I say go for it. Rain or Shine Grenada won’t disappoint.

  2. Thanks for sharing such beautiful pictures. Wish I can use them all for wall paper on my computer. This is a real gift.

  3. Hey buddy, just touching base and wishing you all the best with what you are doing here. I am planning an annual activity (Grenada Spring Break, Girls Gone Wild), will keep you posted, but this one will be three locations in one weekend.

  4. Hi
Can you please advise me on this question. In 1975 a Grenada postage stamp featured a picture with the inscription:
“CRUISING YACHTS ROUND POINT SALINES” This was apparently incorrect and it was changed to ‘CRUISNG YACHTS ROUND POINT SALINE”
Which is the correct name please? I would really appreciate your comments
    Many thanks
    Noel (from New Zealand)

  5. Hi everyone,

Thank you for these great pictures. I enjoy the beauty of my island I feel homesick because it bring back all my childhood memories.
Keep up the great work and thank you very much.

  6. Hi There

As a proud Grenadian, I felt my pride elevated as I looked on at the natural beauty of my country. I am away from home studying (in cold North America!), and I miss her soooo much. While your pictures initially made me feel that homesickness a bit more acutely, the lasting emotion is one of happiness to have seen such vivid pictures of my homeland; I now feel as though I never left. Thank you for that!

  7. Good Job. I am Grenadian, and looking at your photos makes me proud. It gives folk a good idea of our country, and our people. I was looking for the AHS and botanical gardens. I am very happy with your presentation. You even showed my house.

    Thanks

    1. Hi Joan,
Thank You. I promise to get some shots of AHS and the Botanical gardens on the next trip. Of course if you have pictures of Grenada you want to contribute let me know and I post them here. Glad you enjoyed the site. All the best for 2010

      Regards

  8. Looking forward to visiting Grenada. Have both the RC and Anglican Churches in St George’s now been fully restored post-Ivan?
    Or are they still roof-less?

  9. A most impressive website about Grenada. Thanks for the great job, and all of the best to you. Keep it up.
I too am Grenadian and do vist the DC area at least once a year. I hope to visit The Homeland soon.

    All the best.

    Francis

    1. Hi Francis,
Glad you found some value in the website. Hope you make it back to the Spice Isle very soon.
      Regards

  10. well yea my home is beautiful yall know that right every body need to come visist we will make u fill at home

  11. beautiful pictures absolutely stunning I am feeling sick when such natural sites are seen they are all very attractive.

  12. I beg to ask the question:

Is St. George’s Grenada’s only place of interest?

Why! Every picture or event seems to take place there. Is there any other beautiful location. Shame!

    1. Louberth
That’s great question, and a fair one. St. George’s is DEFINITELY NOT Grenada’s only place of interest. The reason most of the pictures or events are about St. George’s is because when I am on vacation I live in St. George’s and spend 90% of my time there.

I would love nothing more than to showcase much more of our lovely island but my time is limited when I go to Grenada. I normally will only get to tour the island once or twice per trip, spending at most 30 minutes if all of that in most places of interest

I am only one person, without a budget, and I do this extremely part time. That’s why I have the Grenada Reviews section where readers can send in pictures and reviews of THEIR favorite Grenada Places. So if you have pictures you want to see posted on this site or special places you want others to know about just send them to me and I will upload them to the site. This can be as much your site as it is mine.

Thanks for the comment, and I hope to see many non St. George’s pictures and reviews from you in the future
